Mr. Nasir A. Qureshi is a healthcare professional leading preventive health initiatives focused on early detection and management of diabetes, under the banner of Doctors (PCDA). He serves as Project Lead for the “Beating Diabetes” initiative, implemented in CSR collaboration with Okaasan Foundation. Through this collaboration, he is about to start supporting nationwide screenings, awareness programs, and data-driven health promotion aligned with international preventive care guidelines. Very soon under the banner of recent collaboration between Okaasan Foundation and Mr. Nasir Qureshi and other Doctors (PCDA) will perform medical events.

Nasir Qureshi, IDF-Certified Diabetes Educator, Sonologist, and Member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS), is a preventive healthcare professional dedicated to early detection, metabolic risk reduction, and structured diabetes awareness initiatives.
He serves as Project Lead for the “Beating Diabetes” Initiative, a preventive health program focused on community screening, risk stratification, and evidence-based lifestyle intervention models aligned with international diabetes prevention frameworks.
Through CSR collaborations and institutional partnerships, including engagement with Okaasan Foundation, he is leading structured screening drives, awareness programs, and data-driven health promotion campaigns aimed at reducing the growing burden of diabetes in Pakistan. This initiative is completely aligned with the PCDA’s public health policy and the Lipid forum of Pakistan.
His approach integrates:
Diabetes education (IDF framework)
Non-invasive risk screening
Preventive imaging insight
Lifestyle-centered behavioral modification
Community-based early intervention models etc.

The session was inaugurated by Dr Neelofar Imtiaz renowned general physician & Gynecologist and owner Sana Medical Centre.

PCDA Media Secretary Dr. Shakeel Ahmed was the Chief Guest.
To honor his presence and support a recognition Shield is presented to Dr. Shakeel Ahmed by President of Okaasan Foundation Muhammad Taha Khan accompanied by Mr. Saif Ur Rehman Vice President of Okaasan Foundation and Mr. Nasir Qureshi Project Lead.

For community service encouragement, certificates were also given to volunteers Ms. Tehreem and Muhammed Ammar by the Project Lead Mr Nasir Qureshi & The President of Okaasan Foundation Mr. Muhammad Taha respectively.

2- To promote women empowerment by building retail stalls/booths/cabins for Women Entrepreneurs as applicable in the ___-owned parks and applicable ___ -owned places.
3- To encourage/establish entrepreneurial aptitude and boost confidence in the business women of Karachi, we are striving to arrange a Women Entrepreneur Business Exhibition at Frere Hall Park.
4- To encourage/establish entrepreneurial aptitude and boost confidence in the kids of Karachi, we are striving to arrange a Kids Entrepreneur Business Exhibition at Frere Hall Park (age range 9-15 years).
5- Arranging a high school and secondary school male students’ swimming competition at ___ Complex Kashmir Road.
6- World Cultural Food Festival at Boat Basin Park.
7- Reengineering and renovation of all Government Schools of Karachi with diverse cognitive designs.
8- Building and managing affordable medical clinics in Kachi Abadis to provide medical facilities to people with low income located under the ___ area.
9- Introducing urban gardening projects in Karachi.
10- Tree plantation project in Karachi City and also the beautification of ___-owned parks and libraries in Karachi City.
11- Old age people marathon from Clifton Teen Talwar to Do Darya (DHA) in Karachi.
12- Building district-level teams T-20 cricket match.
13- To establish and operate the ___ social clubs in all districts (providing secure space for social recreational activities and sports facilities).
14- Permission for organizing a musical concert after Eid at Clifton.
15- All Religious Faiths Unity Walk to be organized in Saddar to Sea View for Peace.
16- Establishing and managing digital learning labs for adults as well as kids (with easy access to electronic journals for research work) and also co-working spaces for technically skilled youth of Karachi in the ___-owned libraries.
